Complementing our latest publication, we present a portfolio featuring one of the artist’s projects on the island of Vieques.
Seven digital photographs of urban graphics created in Vieques. The Portfolio includes a DVD with a documentary on the making of the works by Puerto Rican filmmaker Roberto Otero and an introductory essay by anthropologist Katherine T. McCaffrey.
Edition of 125 signed and numbered copies.
"I created this experimental urban graphic work on the walls of the former Navy explosives storage areas and an abandoned military heliport, removing the fungus and black dirt that had accumulated over the years. The images symbolically represent the hope of these noble people to recover their health and restore the ecological balance and natural beauty of their land."
